The Turbocat Turbine Powerhead is manufactured by H-P Products and fits all central vacuum brands. The non-slip cogged drive belt reduces slippage, providing a more consistent vacuuming performance. It has a low profile body that is designed to be light, responsive and easily maneuverable. This powerhead features dual brushed edge cleaning, allowing the user to vacuum close to walls and furniture. This powerhead automatically adjusts according to carpet height, allowing for smooth, easy cleaning. The Turbocat air-driven powerhead features a DeepSweep Agitator. This is a unique staggered bristle design that allows constant contact of bristle to carpet in order to bring embedded dirt to the surface. The bristles are also crimped, which allows the separation of carpet fibers while in use to increase the airflow to pick up and remove deeper dirt for first-rate cleaning. This powerhead has a turbine wheel that rotates at a high RPM, generating the air power needed from your central vacuum for first-rate cleaning. The turbine shaft has a step-down feature that allows the belt to disengage from the belt drive in case of obstruction to prevent belt breakage. If airflow becomes restricted in any way, a system performance indicator will slow down the Turbocat to notify the user that suction has decreased.
