The double wall interior with internal stainless steel maintains water temperature longer while the plastic external wall stays cold to the touch. Other features include 360 degree connection, non-slip feet for stable support and a manual opening with a max-angle of 80 degrees to make filling the carafe easier. It switches off automatically when it reaches the boiling point, when theres insufficient water inside the kettle or when the body has been detached from the base.
