Each candle uses 1 CR2450 button battery, which will give you 50 hours total runtime before needing to be replaced. When used with the automatic timer, you’ll only have to replace the batteries a few times during the whole holiday season, from Halloween to New Year’s. That makes these votive candles a beautiful decorating choice that is easy on the wallet for long-term use. Each little battery operated candle measures 1.4″ x 2″ (measured to the top of the flame). That’s just enough to give you lots of lovely illumination without requiring a huge amount of space. The patented moving flame casts a flickering glow against the high-quality plastic. Place your candles in votives or glass jars to capture the look of traditional candles without the open flame.
