This is a non-chlorine shock treatment that is a fast-dissolving granular which can be added to the spa water and it will react with the bromide and form a bromine solution that destroys any microorganisms left behind by the bather. This product is also part of the Reserve and Renew Chlorine-Free Sanitizing System. You can use the spa minutes after application since it quickly dissolves in the water and gets rid of oils and residue in the spa water and eliminates organic materials that cause odors, skin and eye irritation. It does not affect pH level since it is pH buffered with a buffer potassium monopersulfate compound (non-chlorine shock) and also formulated with DuPont Oxone.
