It has an integrated on/off and Dim/Bright operation. The quiet-3-speed settings offer Low, Medium, and High fan settings. Radio frequency interface filtering is standard on all models and it comes with electrostatic discharge protection. It operates on Square Law dimming, meaning the perceived dimming level is proportionate to the rotary dial.
