This unit can only be added to the 20 and 30,000 BTU heaters. The electrical cord that is connected to the fan assembly can then be plugged into a wall outlet and the three position rocker switch for the fan can be set for either off all the time, the middle position, On all the time, the top position, and the Automatic, bottom position, which allows the fan to turn on and off with the heat from the Vent Free unit as it operates. This unit is for Mr. Heater an HeatStar manufactured before 2015. This is not for units manufactured after 2015. The part number you need is F299201. This switch can be reached even when the heater is mounted to the wall.
