Breville did not miss a detail and included an ergonomic storage container for the filters and other accessories behind the drip tray. The drip tray features a metal tray, as well as a slot for grounds collection and water collection, and includes a pop-up ’empty me’ that sticks up when the tray is full so you don’t have an overflowing mess. Utilizing the included baskets, you can choose between single or double, pressurized or non-pressurized shots, depending on your taste and skill. The integrated, removable tamper allows you to get the most out of your beans and features a convenient magnetic head for easy access and easy storage. Milk Frothing. The Breville Barista Express comes with an impressive steam pressure system with a steam arm for frothing your milk to perfection. The steam wand allows you to hand-texture the micro-foam necessary to enhance the flavor of the coffee and create latte art. The machine also features a dedicated hot water outlet for hot water dispensing. Precise Extraction. Digital temperature control (PID) delivers water at precisely the right temperature, ensuring optimal espresso extraction. This allows for optimal taste, with consistent dose and extraction.
